Tiny Table - Privacy Supplement

This supplement describes how the Tiny Table app handles your information. It adds app-specific detail to our company Privacy Policy, which governs and which covers your rights, our legal bases, and how to contact us. Where the two documents overlap, this supplement is the more specific description for Tiny Table.
What Tiny Table collects

We do not show ads, sell your personal information, share it with data brokers, or use it for cross-app tracking. Tiny Table requests no advertising identifier.
About dietary information.Dietary patterns and exclusions can be sensitive - they may reflect health, religious, or ethical choices. Tiny Table uses them for one purpose only: filtering and ranking meal suggestions for your household. They are never used for advertising, never sold, never shared outside the processors listed below, and are deleted with your account. Note that everyone in your household can see the household's shared preferences, since the app exists to coordinate meals among those people.
What other people in your household can see
Tiny Table is a shared app. Other active members of your household can see the household name and preferences, the meal decisions and votes (including who voted), the grocery list, the pantry, and your display name. They cannot see your email password, your payment details, or any household you are not a member of. Removing a member stops their access to that household going forward.
Service providers (processors)
We use a small number of vendors to run Tiny Table. They process data on our instructions only:
- Supabase - application database, authentication, and server functions (United States)
- Expo - relays push notifications to Apple and Google delivery services
- PostHog - product analytics (first-party; no advertising use)
- Sentry - crash and error reporting
- RevenueCat - subscription status management
- Apple App Store / Google Play - process your payment; we never receive your card details
- Transactional email delivery for sign-in and confirmation messages
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time, and there are two ways:
- In the app - Profile → Delete account. This is immediate.
- On the web - happyforgelabs.com/tinytable/delete-account, if you no longer have the app installed.
When you delete your account we remove your sign-in record, your profile, your votes, your notification settings, and your push token. If you are the only member of your household, the household and its history are deleted with you. If other people are still active in that household, the household survives so their data isn't destroyed: ownership passes to the longest-standing remaining member, and content you created (such as a past dinner decision) stays but is no longer linked to you. Backups are rotated on a short cycle. Some records may be retained where law requires it - for example, purchase records held by Apple, Google, or our payment processor.
Children
Tiny Table is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Contact us if you believe a child has created an account and we will remove it.
Your choices
- Notifications - reminders are off until you opt in, and you can turn them off in your device settings at any time.
- Access, correction, deletion, portability - see the company Privacy Policy for how to exercise these rights, including under the GDPR/UK GDPR and US state privacy laws.
- Subscriptions - manage or cancel in the app (Profile → Manage subscription) or in your App Store / Google Play account.
